A message from our founder
“Agreeable isn’t the same as trustworthy, and in technology, the difference shows up at the worst possible time.”
I’ve spent my career in organizations where technology simply can’t afford to fail. With hundreds of employees, complex infrastructure, and real financial consequences when something went wrong, I was responsible for keeping those systems running. When they didn’t, I was the one in the room leading the response.
Over the course of my career I’ve helped teams navigate ransomware threats, worked through major outages that halted operations across entire organizations, and managed cybersecurity programs held to regulatory standards. I’ve also had the opportunity to build secure networks from scratch, lead cloud migrations that reduced cost, and improve infrastructure that businesses could genuinely rely on.
After years working inside these environments, a pattern started to bother me. Businesses spending real money on technology and never fully getting its value back. Inconsistent setups, cloud environments no one fully understood or controlled, security that looked right on paper but wasn’t lived day to day. And providers who kept saying yes, even when yes was the wrong answer.
As Altura began to take shape, I teamed up with leaders who share the same values and vision for how technology should be managed. We built a firm together that takes ownership of our clients’ environments and the responsibility that comes with it.
Altura exists because we wanted to build something different. A practice grounded in doing things carefully, consistently, and with your long-term stability in mind, not just the path of least resistance. If you’re a business leader tired of technology problems becoming your problems, we built this for you.
